"I'm coming up to Louisville tomorrow morning for my official visit. I've told Coach Hurtt I'm coming [there], but I haven't committed yet," Reve told InsideTheVille.com. "I guess I'll just commit tomorrow when I'm with Coach Strong. But I've told them I'm coming. It's definitely going to happen. I'm going to Louisville and I will enroll early. That's where I'm playing college football."
A two-star safety, Reve told the UCF coaching staff this week that he was backing out of his verbal commitment. He plans to enroll at Louisville next week with Bridgewater, and those two will be able to participate in spring practice for the Cardinals.
"I always liked Charlie Strong when he coached for the Florida Gators and I always wanted to play for a defensive coach like him," Reve said. "They just started recruiting me hard the past few weeks and I've just connected with all the coaches..Coach [Vance] Bedford, Coach [Clint] Hurtt and Coach Strong.
"When I saw Louisville's bowl game I liked how the defense moved around. Louisville actually offered me the day of the bowl game. That just topped it off there. Plus, I have a great relationship with Coach Hurtt, and he really sold me on Louisville."
Rated the No. 111 safety prospect nationally, Reve would be the 23rd member of Louisville's 2011 recruiting class - a class that currently ranks No. 27 nationally in Scout.com's team rankings.
"I'm going to be a safety for sure," Reve said. "Coach Bedford said he likes the way I come up against the run and the underneath stuff. I'll play mostly the strong safety position."
As a senior, Reve made 70 tackles, and broke up a couple passes. Reve is rated as the 73rd-best prospect in Florida by the Orlando Sentinel.
