Jermaine Edmondson, a 6-2, 170-pound corner from Canton, Ohio, will visit Louisville Friday and attend Charlie Strong's football camp Saturday.

"I'm going to Louisville on Friday to visit campus and look around and I'm going to their camp Saturday to check out the coaching staff and facilities," Edmondson said. "I'm interested in Louisville. I like the fact the coaches resumes are great and they know what they're talking about. I've been talking to Coach [Larry] Slade. He's real cool."

Edmondson, who holds offers from Louisville, Bowling Green, Illinois, Toledo and Buffalo, picked up two more offers this week from Purdue and Nebraska.

"I'm real excited about those offers," Edmondson said. "I never expected to receive those offers. It's a blessing for me. Nebraska has been recruiting me, but the offer was a big surprise to me because I've only seen them once or twice."

After Louisville's camp, Edmondson plans to camp at West Virginia and Illinois. Edmondson participated in camps at Ohio State and Toledo earlier this month.

Edmondson recorded 42 tackles and 7 interceptions as a junior.
