Ivery focused on three
Dequan Ivery will make his first official visit this week. The 6'1, 310 pound defensive tackle from Lake City, Fla., will head north this weekend to visit Purdue. "I'm going to Purdue this weekend," Ivery said. "My interest in Purdue is pretty good right now." Ivery is on the road to making a decision. Though Purdue is the only visit he has scheduled right now, two other Big East program schools stand out on his list. "The main ones that standout are Louisville, South Florida and Purdue," Ivery said. Ivery told InsideTheVille.com this summer that Louisville was the team to beat for his signature on National Signing Day. Is that still the case heading into his visit to West Lafayette this weekend? "They're probably not on top right now, but they are still in my top three," Ivery said. "They talk to my mom. I haven't really talked to them in about a month. But they told my mom I was still one of the top guys on their board." Ivery, who runs a 5.1 forty, also mentioned FIU as a school in the mix in his recruitment.
