Northeast's Kam Davis, a 6-foot-5, 295 offensive tackle out of Oakland Park Fl is one of the top…
Davis focused on five programs
Kameron Davis, a three-star offensive lineman from Oakland Park (FL) Northeast, has trimmed his list to five schools – West Virginia, South Florida, East Carolina, Louisville and Vanderbilt. Davis, 6'5, 295, has already made official visits to ECU and West Virginia and both schools checked on him this week. "They (West Virginia) are sitting real high on my list but I'm still open," Davis said. "I like the offense they run. I've already visited there in October. It was fun and I enjoyed it. (ECU) is high on my list also because I have a solid relationship with Coach Jones. I'm really considering ECU as well." Besides ECU and West Virginia, Davis plans to visit a few more programs before he makes a decision. "I'm planning to take a hard look at South Florida, Louisville and Vanderbilt," he said. Louisville, who already has five offensive commitments for next season, is recruiting Davis as a left tackle. "I talk to Coach (Borbely) probably weekly," Davis said. "We're just trying to get up for a visit, that's the main focus. I talked to him two weeks ago and he told me there was a reason all of the Florida guys are going up there and I should come see why." Davis also discussed his interest in USF and Vanderbilt. "I like South Florida because it's in Florida and my parents could see me play," said Davis. "I like Vanderbilt because I have a strong relationship with the coaching staff and I've been up there on campus (for a visit)." What will factor into Davis' college decision? "Probably how comfortable I am with the coaches and how comfortable I feel at the school. That's the main factor," he said.
