Hatcher decision coming next week

One of the top high school football prospects in the state of Kentucky will make his college decision on July 27 in downtown Louisville.

Trinity High School defensive end Jason Hatcher, a two-year starter who helped the Shamrocks to back-to-back Class 6-A state titles, will pick his school during a ceremony at 7 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency Hotel.

The 6-foot-3, 240-pound Hatcher is considering USC, Louisville, Tennessee and South Carolina. He's ranked as the No. 3 defensive end in he country and No. 38 overall prospect in the Scout 300.

Hatcher, several members of his family and two of his coaches are expected to speak at the announcement.
