It’s a huge weekend for University of Louisville athletics with several sports playing home games, including football and women’s soccer. Check out the Cardinal Authority story for all the game times and sites.

It’s another big weekend in store for fans of the University of Louisville fall athletic teams with football, women’s soccer and men’s soccer all at home.

The football game is slated for 3:30 p.m. on Saturday against Missouri State at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium. But the gridiron is not the only place where U of L athletes will be lining up this weekend.

Karen Ferguson-Dayes has the nationally-ranked women’s soccer team with a 4-0 record heading into the Courtyard by Marriott Louisville Airport Classic to be held on Friday and Saturday at Cardinal Park.

The Cardinals will take on rival Kentucky Friday at 7:30 p.m. and then turn around and face Toledo on Saturday at 2:30 p.m.

Ken Lolla and the men’s soccer team sports a 1-2 record this season and will host Army at 7 o’clock on Saturday in Cardinal Park.

Two fall sports teams – field hockey and volleyball – hit the road.

The U of L volleyball team is 6-1 and on a four-match winning streak heading to Cincinnati this weekend for the Big East/Big Ten Challenge. U of L meets Purdue on Friday afternoon and Illinois on Saturday afternoon.

The field hockey team takes a three-game winning streak to Bloomington, Ind., for two games this weekend. The Cardinals (3-1) will play Indiana on Friday at 3 p.m. and then meet Ohio University on Saturday at 2 o’clock.
