2014 tight end Taylor Lee talks to BearcatInsider.com about recruiting…
Cincy TE has connection with Louisville
Cincinnati Elder junior tight end Taylor Lee (6'6, 225) made an unofficial visit to Louisville on Saturday, taking in the campus and the Cardinals game against Missouri State. "The campus was real nice," Lee told Cardinal Authority on Sunday. "I really loved the fan base there. It was great." Lee kept a close eye on the participation of the tight end during the Cardinals 35-7 win. Both of Teddy Bridgewater's touchdown passes were to tight ends, the first a 14-yard hookup with Nate Nord and the second a 2-yard connection to Ryan Hubbell. "I thought the team played strong and I liked how they used their tight ends a lot," he said. "Their offense really uses the tight ends a lot." While the recruiting process is just beginning for the junior prospect, the Cardinals may have the early advantage. "I have a good friend that's working hard for a spot down there, T.C. Klusman," Lee explained. "We played together at Elder, but we've known each other since grade school. His parents house is right down the street from me." Taylor is also garnering early attention from Boston College, Cincinnati, Indiana and Northwestern. "It's going well for me," he said of the recruiting process. "Right now I like Louisville and Indiana and what they offer." In addition to his recent visit at U of L, he also visited the hometown Bearcats for their season-opening win over Pittsburgh and is scheduled to visit Bloomington when the Hoosiers host Ohio State next month.
