Senorise Perry ran for four touchdowns, Teddy Bridgewater threw for 304 yards with one score and the 18th-ranked Louisville Cardinals snapped a four-game skid against the Pittsburgh Panthers with a 45-35 victory on Saturday.
DeVante Parker led all receivers with 153 yards and a touchdown on four grabs for Louisville (6-0, 1-0 Big East), which is off to its best start since winning its first eight games in 2006.
The Cardinals scored 24 straight points after Pittsburgh (2-4, 0-3) had taken a 21-14 lead.
Tino Sunseri connected on 28-of-37 throws for 287 yards and two touchdowns. The Panthers QB added a score on a goal-line plunge with 12:41 remaining in the fourth quarter, but his fourth-down pass on Pitt's next drive fell incomplete.
Perry then sealed the win by sprinting 59 yards to the end zone on third down.
Devin Street caught a game-high 11 passes for 111 yards in defeat. His final reception resulted in a 2-yard touchdown with 40 seconds left.
