"Georgia, I like their style of defense, their defense is kind of like ours, with all the stunts and all of that, I think I could go there and not miss a beat."
"LSU, they're just tough, and I can relate to that."
The Baker County (Glen St. Mary, FL) standout lives just over an hour away from Gainesville, so it's pretty easy for him to visit Florida, which he's done a few times this season.
"I think Florida is a great atmosphere and it feels like home every time I step on the campus and it's so close, so my parents can come right down the road to see me play," he said.
Jefferson has no leaders and won't make a decision for quite some time, but it's that home-like atmosphere he'll be looking for down the road.
"First I want to go somewhere where I can get a great education, I want to go somewhere that feels like home," he said.
"Right now, I'm looking to stay close because I haven't really gotten to much attention from (further schools)."
Jefferson says his desire to stay close may change as he gets more attention from schools further away, but he's not thinking too hard about it quite yet.
