Junior Lineman Making The Rounds
Buckeye Valley junior defensive tackle Logan Dziak is a player to watch in Ohio for the 2014 class. Although he plays on both sides of the football, Dziak is being recruited primarily as a defensive lineman. Dziak, 6-foot-3, 285-pounds, holds no offers to date, but has taken several unofficial visits. "I have been to a lot of schools so far this year, and it's been great getting to meet all these coaches and check out their programs," Dziak stated. "I visited Louisville earlier this year and loved it there. I've been to see Illinois, which was another great place. I like the coaching staff there, and think a lot of their program. They stay in touch with me and send me mail just about every day." "I loved Indiana, and thought Coach (Kevin) Wilson was amazing," he added. "I could definitely see myself playing there. I've also been to Duke, North Carolina State and Toledo. Being at Duke was great and I've been speaking to their coaches for a while now. They spent a lot of time with me before the game, and told me to stay in touch with him. They invited me back in January." "I will be going to Michigan this weekend, and I'm very excited about that," he continued. "I was at their camp last summer, and I've been really following them ever since. I've been emailing Coach (Jerry) Montgomery, and they send me a lot of mail. I'm also going to visit Pittsburgh later this month." Following an impressive camp season, Dziak continued that strong play on the field this season. "Things went great this year, and I feel I got better with each game," he said. "My best game was our last game where I had eight tackles and two sacks. I also played on offense, but teams are recruiting me as a defensive tackle."
