A Slice of the Orange – The Backcourt

The team here at CuseNation.com takes a look at the guard positions for the Syracuse Orange men's basketball team going into the 2012-13 campaign.

Without Scoop Jardine and Dion Waiters, Michael Carter-Williams and Brandon Triche will have more placed on their shoulders this season. Along with them, Trevor Cooney will join the backcourt for the first time in his collegiate career after redshirting last season.

John Garcia, Jr., Mike McAllister, and Dan Tortora focus in on the point guard and shoot guard spots on the floor to share with you their thoughts on each player that can make an impact at those positions, as well as what Cooney could bring back to the Orange.

Tune in all the way through to also find out who each of the writers for CuseNation.com chose as their Syracuse Backcourt Preseason Player of the Year.
