PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- A win Saturday at Pittsburgh would give Rutgers at least a share of the Big East title for the first time in school history, and the day could end with the Scarlet Knights earning a BCS bowl berth, and freshman defensive tackle Darius Hamilton went 1-on-1 with to discuss it.

Rutgers freshman defensive tackle Darius Hamilton could have gone to any school in the nation, but he chose to stay home because he believed the Scarlet Knights could accomplish big things.

By the time Hamilton is a junior, Rutgers is expected to be in the Big Ten, but there is more immediate business at hand.

The Scarlet Knights travel to Pittsburgh for Saturday's noon kickoff, and a win will give them at least a share of their first Big East title. A loss by Louisville to Connecticut on the same day and a win by Rutgers would send the Scarlet Knights to their first BCS bowl.

But even if the conference race isn't decided at Pittsburgh, it will be decided five days later when the Scarlet Knights host Louisville, and Hamilton spoke to about what is happening. Recommended Stories
