While there isn't much history between the University of Louisville and its future ACC conference mates on the football field, it is one that includes some of the most memorable games in the program's history.
The Cardinals have faced an ACC opponent in three recent bowls, including U of L's first BCS appearance in 2007. Louisville's most recent outings against Florida State and Miami are considered as two of the biggest wins in the football program's history.
The Cardinals, who have never faced Clemson or Georgia Tech, have an overall record of 18-26-1 against current ACC members (minus Maryland).
