Multiple media sources have the University of Cincinnati hiring Texas Tech head coach Tommy Tuberville to replace Butch Jones.

The University of Cincinnati wasted little time in finding their next head coach as multiple reports have Texas Tech head coach Tommy Tuberville heading to Cincinnati.

Tuberville, 58 years of age has spent the past three seasons at Texas Tech putting together a 20-17 overall record with his Red Raiders getting ready to play in the Meineke Car Care Bowl of Texas after going 7-5 this season.

Tuberville is no stranger to Cincinnati director of athletics Whit Babcock as the two spent time together at Auburn.
