Top in-state youngster visiting U of L

The University of Louisville men's basketball team will be hosting Class of 2014 prospect Shaqquan Aaron on an official visit on Sunday, while also hosting one of the state of Kentucky's top young talents on an unofficial visit.

Taylor County High School star Quentin Goodin, considered one of the best young prospects in the state of Kentucky, will be making another visit to the University of Louisville on Sunday.

The 6-foot-2 Goodin, who is the top prospect in the Class of 2016, will be making his third trip to U of L since the fall when he makes an unofficial visit for the U of L vs. Marquette game in the KFC Yum! Center.

Goodin has been in contact with the U of L staff since the end of the summer and attended a practice and then was back for the Red-White scrimmage.

Goodin has also made unofficial visits to Purdue, Tennessee, Western Kentucky, Eastern Kentucky and is also hearing from Xavier, West Virginia, Indiana and others..

Goodin averaged 11.1 points, 4.2 assists and 2.5 rebounds a game as an eighth-grader on the varsity level last season at Taylor County. He's averaging 15.5 points and 5.4 rebounds a game this season for the Cardinals.

Aaron, a top prospect from Seattle, will be making an official visit.
