Ballard High School point guard Quentin Snider, the lone commitment in the Class of 2014 for the University of Louisville, is ranked among the top 25 prospects in the country in the updated Scout.com rankings for the Class of 2014.
Snider checks in at No. 24 and is one of 11 prospects the Cardinals are after that are ranked among the top 25.
U of L is in the mix for No. 1 player Jahlil Olafor, a center from Chicago, and made the final listing of six schools for No. 4 Trey Lyles of Indianapolis Tech.
The Cardinals are also recruiting No. 5 Cliff Alexander, a center from Chicago, No. 7 Kevon Looney, a power forward from Milwaukee, Wis., and No. 11 D'Angelo Russell, the former Central High star now at Montverde, Fla., Academy.
No. 12 Jaquan Lyle of Evansville, Ind., Bosse, has visited U of L several times this season, while the Cardinals are also in the mix for Minnesota shooting guard Rashad Vaughn, who is ranked in the No. 13 spot.
U of L has also been listed by No. 17 Stanley Johnson of Santa Ana, Calif., are recruiting North Carolina wing Theo Pinson who is No. 18 and No. 20 Leron Black, who is a power forward from Memphis.
Nashville, Tenn., small forward Jalen Lindsey, who ranks No. 25, has visited U of L and listed the Cardinals among his final 10 schools.
Seattle forward Shaqquan Aaron, who visited recently, is No. 34. Other prospects looking at U of L are No. 43 Isaiah Whitehead, No. 44 Daniel Hamilton and No. 51 Khadeem Lattin.
