Commitment breakdown: Michael Johnson

On Friday morning, University of Louisville football coach Charlie Strong received a phone call and commitment from Hialeah, Fla., Champagnat Catholic School safety Michael Johnson. It's the second commitment in the Class of 2014 for the Cardinals. Cardinal Authority breaks down the commitment and what it means for U of L:

THE PROSPECT Michael Johnson is a 6-foot-3, 190-pound safety who is a physical specimen and his tapes show a hard-hitting, tough prospect. Johnson runs a 4.5 40-yard dash and gets to the ball with a lot of force. As a junior, Johnson finished with 99 tackles, seven forced fumbles, six pass break ups and one interception.
