The Cardinals practiced in pads for the first time this spring on Saturday morning. Defensive coordinator Vance Bedford spoke with the media following the two-hour session.

Hundreds of Cardinal fans turned out for the final open practice of the spring on Saturday morning and saw the Sugar Bowl Champions conduct a few short scrimmages.

While still not live tackling, the Cardinals dressed in full pads for the first time and both sides of the ball preformed well.

Following the two-hour practice, U of L defensive coordinator Vance Bedford visited with the media.
