Cards offer top center from Class of 2015

The University of Louisville men's basketball team has now offered three of the top post players from the Class of 2015 after extending an offer to Stephen Zimmerman. The 7-footer was impressive last week during the NBA Players Association Camp and his recruitment has heated up in recent days.

Stephen Zimmerman is the latest big man in the Class of 2015 to land an offer from the University of Louisville basketball staff.

The 7-foot Zimmerman, who is a top 10 prospect in the '15 class nationally, landed an offer from the Cardinals on Wednesday night.

Zimmerman said he had 15 schools text him just after the midnight deadline last week, including U of L. He has also landed offers from Kentucky, Kansas, Arizona, UCLA, USC, Connecticut, Michigan, Michigan State, Oregon and Notre Dame.

Zimmerman attends Las Vegas Bishop Gorman and plays for the Dream Vision AAU team. The Cardinals' staff will evaluate him this summer.

U of L has also offered top post players Daniel Giddens of Marietta, Ga., and Cheick Diallo of Centerreach, N.Y.
