Three days are in the books for the first of three July evaluation periods for college basketball coaches across the country. There are still two days left in this first period, but check out where the University of Louisville coaches were on Friday.

University of Louisville basketball coach Rick Pitino started the day in Indianapolis after spending the first two days of the evaluation period checking out a few players at the adidas Invitational Tournament.

But Pitino was on the move much of the day on Friday.

The U of L head coach flew to Myrtle Beach, S.C., early on Friday and watched Texas big man Elbert Robinson in the Big Shots Tournament.

U of L assistant coach Wyking Jones was in Myrtle Beach with Pitino and stayed after to watch Robinson again later in the day.

Pitino then stopped in Aiken, S.C., to check out '14 prospect Leron Black, whose Team Thad squad beat the Upward Stars with '15 target Perry Dozier at the Peach State Classic. Black has emerged as a top '14 target for U of L.

U of L assistant coach Kevin Keatts was with Pitino at the Peach State and then went a few minutes down the road to Augusta, Ga., for the Peach Jam.

Pitino saw Angel Delgado get 20 points and eight rebounds for the NY Lighting before watching Mac Irvin Fire (Cliff Alexander) take on Houston Hoops (Kelly Oubre). Alexander had eight points and five rebounds, while Oubre's team won and he had 14 points, four rebounds and four steals.

He also watched junior Alex Owens from Orlando at the Peach Jam.

Pitino is expected back at the Peach Jam in the morning with Alexander slated to play at 9 a.m. Trey Lyles, who plays for Spiece Indy Heat, didn't play because of an injury on Friday and his team is slated for a game at noon.
