The University of Louisville football team fell 10 spots in both polls on Sunday following a 38-35 loss to Central Florida on Friday night.

The University of Louisville football team lost 38-35 on Friday night to Central Florida.

On Sunday, the Cardinals dropped 10 spots in both of the major polls.

Louisville (6-1) is now ranked No. 16 in the USA Today Coaches poll and No. 18 in the Associated Press poll. The Cardinals were No. 6 in the coaches and No. 8 in the writers poll.

U of L is also No. 26 in the Sagarin ratings. The BCS standings are released on Sunday night.

The Cardinals will now play at South Florida on Saturday at noon in a game that will be televised on ESPN2.
