11-0 Part 1
>A change in the starting lineup helped Louisville jump out to an early 11-0 lead over the Golden Eagles. Freshman guard Terry Rozier and center Mangok Mathiang both notched their first career starts. Rozier didn't waste the opportunity, hitting the team's first two shots of the game, both three-pointers. Mathiang added the next basket to make the lead 8-0. A three-pointer from Wayne Blackshear, off an assist from Rozier, capped the 11-0 burst to start the game.

11-0 Part 2
>After struggling through a four minute stretch without much offense, a layup by Montrezl Harrell off an assist by Russ Smith sparked another 11-0 run. A Montrezl Harrell dunk ended the run that saw the Cardinals lead grow from 19-10 to 30-10.

11-0 Part 3
>Russ Smith's dunk off steal ended a three minute scoring drought for the Cardinals. The dunk was Smith's first basket of the game and he added another just seconds later to give Louisville a 40-13 lead with 15:26 left in the game. Smith would score drain another three-pointer during the Cardinals third 11-0 run of the game. A three-pointer from Chris Jones finished off the spurt that left U of L with a 45-13 lead.
