Louisville tops Western Kentucky

Playing without Chris Jones, the No. 6 University of Louisville Cardinals struggled offensively for much of the first half, but outscored Western Kentucky by 13 in the second half to secure a 79-63 victory.

Led by All-American Russ Smith's 14 points, five players scored in double figures for the Cardinals. Mangok Mathiang added a career-high 13 points, while Wayne Blackshear and Tim Henderson each scored 12 and Chane Behanan totaled 11 points.

Smith dished out 10 assists and Terry Rozier, who started in place of the injured Jones, grabbed a career-best 10 rebounds.
