Shaqquan Aaron led Rainier Beach to a third consecutive Class 3-A state title and was named Player of the Year for his efforts.

Rainier Beach finished the season 29-0 and will now play in the Dick's Sporting Goods High School National Tournament on April 3-5 in Madison Square Garden. Rainier Beach is currently ranked No. 2 in the country.

Aaron averaged 19.4 points, 7.2 rebounds and 7.5 assists this year. He scored in double figures in 23 of 25 games, with the two exceptions two late season blowouts.

In the state final, Aaron had 22 points in a 47-45 win over Eastside Catholic. He scored 16 in the second half of the close game.
