Louisville shoots down Houston, 91-52

With Wayne Blackshear leading the charge off the bench, the University of Louisville stormed past Houston 91-52 on Thursday night before 21,132 fans at the KFC Yum! Center. The Cardinals hit 15 of 28 from three-point range, including 11 of 14 from beyond the arc in the first half of the blowout.

In the most complete game of the season, the University of Louisville shot down Houston 91-52 on Thursday night in the KFC Yum! Center.

The Cardinals (15-3) hit 15 of 28 three-point field goals, including 11 of 14 in the first half, and were 34 of 66 from the field.

Junior Wayne Blackshear, coming off the bench for the first time all season, finished with 23 points, seven rebounds and two assists. He was 8 of 10 from the field, including 5 of 6 from three-point range.

Russ Smith added 18 points, five rebounds, four assists and three steals, while Luke Hancock had 10 points and three assists. Terry Rozier added nine points, eight assists, four rebounds and two steals.

U of L had 23 assists on 34 made field goals and just nine turnovers.

U of L will now play at UConn on Saturday night at 9 o'clock.
