U of L signing day drama?

The University of Louisville football staff heads into National Signing Day with 18 solid commitments. But the Cardinals are still waiting on decisions from at least eight other top prospects. Cardinal Authority has you covered for the biggest day in football recruiting.

With 18 solid commitments already in the fold, the University of Louisville football staff already has a solid first class.

But the Cardinals could end strong, with at least seven decisions coming on Wednesday, which is National Signing Day.

The faxes will heat up early in the morning and the 18 prospects listed on our CardinalAuthority.com commitment list are expected to sign with the Cardinals.

And there could be more.

---Three-star linebacker Sharieff Rhaheed could get the ball rolling early with an 8 a.m. decision of either U of L, Michigan State, Arkansas or Missouri.

---Clinton, Miss., defensive end Grant Harris will also announce in the morning, picking either U of L or Mississippi State.

---Jacksonville, Fla., wide receiver Desean Blair is still listed as a soft commitment to U of L but will make his final decision at 9 a.m. He appears to be favoring Missouri over the Cardinals and Nebraska.

---Scottsdale, Ariz., linebacker Isaiah Riddle and Madison, Miss., offensive lineman Jimmie Terry are both considered leaning towards U of L and will sign at some point during the day.

---Memphis Melrose wide receiver Cornelius Sturghill will pick either U of L or Wisconsin at 10:30 a.m., while Jacksonville wide receiver Isaiah Ford - a one-time U of L commit - will pick U of L, Virginia Tech or South Carolina at 2:30 p.m. on Wednedsay.

Junior college defensive tackle Dalvon Stuckey is listing U of L and will also make a decision at some point during the day.

The Cardinals have several other prospects that could be in play depending on which way decisions with other kids go throughout the day.
