The word is out on Jermaine Haley.
The 6-foot-7, 185-pound 2016 point guard from Vancouver, British Columbia, is drawing attention from a bunch of high-major programs.
Haley has added scholarship offers from Arizona State, Memphis, Washington State, Utah, Oregon, Wake Forest and others.
On Monday night, Haley landed an offer from the University of Louisville basketball program. He now has over 15 total offers.
Haley is the son of a former NFL player - Jermaine, Sr., who played for the Miami Dolphins and Washington Redskins - and is grandfather was a world-class high jumper. He played for Burnaby (Canada) South last season, but is expected to enroll at Canarias (Spain) Basketball Academy for his junior year. The Canarias is where U of L incoming freshman Matz Stockman attends.
Scout.com national analyst Josh Gershon did an introduction to Haley last week and talked with his DRIVE Basketball AAU coach, Pasha Bains.
"I think he can play anywhere from the one through three but his natural position is point guard," Bains said. "He's a passer and similar to Kyle Anderson, although he's pretty athletic.
"He's a 6-foot-7 point guard and playmaker. He does a lot of stuff off the dribble but his special trait is his passing. He's a good scorer, he shoots it well, is a good athlete and can guard the one through three."
Cardinal Authority will keep you posted on the recruitment of Haley.
