Trinity's Spalding gets offer from Louisville

Trinity High School power forward Raymond Spalding, the top in-state prospect in the Class of 2015, has picked up a scholarship offer from the University of Louisville. The 6-foot-9 Spalding now has 14 offers.

Trinity High School power forward Raymond Spalding made an unofficial visit to the University of Louisville on Wednesday.

Spalding watched the Cardinals work out and chatted with the U of L coaches. He left with his 14th scholarship offer.

The Cardinals became the latest to offer the 6-foot-9 Spalding, who is considered the state's top 2015 prospect.

"It was great and I really liked what I saw," Spalding told Evan Daniels of Scout.com about the visit. "Coach P is a great guy."

Spalding is the No. 65 prospect nationally in the Scout.com top 100. He also has offers from Vanderbilt, Xavier, Clemson, Indiana, Boston College, Georgia Tech and Northwestern. He also cited interest from Kentucky, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Georgia and Alabama.
