The 6-foot-4 shooting guard is still at - or near - the top of the list for the Cardinals.
And while Blakeney said he was "still wide open," in his recruitment, he did have some good things to say about the Cardinals.
"I still don't have anyone in front," Blakeney said. "There are a lot of schools in there. I like Louisville and have a good relationship with the coaches. I like them a lot.
"Coach (Rick) Pitino's name speaks for itself. He's one of the best coaches out there."
Blakeney made it to the final cut before he was eliminated from contention for the USA Basketball U-18 National team last week.
He'll attend the NBA Top 100 camp this week in Charlottesville, Va., and this summer will run with the Each One Teach One travel team.
"I can still improve my game," Blakeney said. "I have to keep working on my ball handling and my moves in transition. I also need to become a better floor leader."
Some of the schools making Blakeney a top priority are: Louisville, Florida, Kansas, Florida State, Providence, USC and LSU. He's also heard from a ton of other schools, including a recent offer from North Carolina.
"It's wide open," Blakeney said. "I just have to find the right fit for me. (The recruitment) is a lot of fun but at times can be hectic and I will be glad when it's over but I'm not going to rush a decision."
