Three more University of Louisville football players have been named to college football 'watch lists.' Jake Smith and Lorenzo Mauldin were honored for a second time this week, while John Wallace also earned a mention.

The University of Louisville football program continued its run on 'watch list' honors.

The Cardinals have had a player on each college football watch list released this week, including Jake Smith and Lorenzo Mauldin on a pair of the lists.

Smith was named to the Outland Trophy watch list for the top interior lineman - both offense and defense - while Mauldin was tabbed to the Bronko Nagurski Trophy watch list, the top defensive player in the nation.

Smith was named to the Rimington Award list earlier in the week for the top center in the country. He started all 13 games at center last season, was a first-team All-Conference and has made 38 career starts.

Mauldin, who was named to the Chuck Bednarik Award list earlier in the week, finished in the top 20 nationally in sacks with 9.5.

Kicker John Wallace, a senior from Central Hardin High School, was named to the Lou Groza watch list as the top kicker in the nation. He was 20 of 24 on field goals and 52 of 54 on extra points last season and is 36 of 45 on field goals and 90 of 96 on extra points during his career.
