U of L commit to play in Wrigley Field

University of Louisville baseball commitment Bryan Hoeing has received an invitation to play on Aug. 16 in the Under Armour All-America Game, powered by Baseball Factory, at Wrigley Field in Chicago. The Class of 2015 prospect is one of 38 players from across the country to participate.

Considered one of the top prospects nationally in the Class of 2015, Batesville, Ind., pitcher Bryan Hoeing has received quite an honor.

The University of Louisville commitment has been invited to pitch in the Under Armour All-America Game, powered by Baseball Factory, on Aug. 16 at Wrigley Field in Chicago.

Hoeing is one of 38 players from across the country to participate. PerfectGame.org ranks him as the No. 73 prospect in the country and was a member of the websites first-team Underclassmen All-American team last season.

The 6-foot-6, 190-pound Hoeing is a right-handed pitcher and considered the top prospect in the senior class next season in Indiana.

Also a standout basketball player, Hoeing was 6-0 with a 0.49 ERA, 60 strikeouts and 14 walks in 42.2 innings as a junior and batted .420.
