FALL CAMP REPORT, DAY TWO -- The action heated up on the field on the second day of fall camp and ITV brings you the action. A recruit and his family stopped by and two new, talented wide receiver transfers joined the mix.

Fall Practice: Day Two

The second day of fall practice wrapped up earlier this evening and the Cards now prepare to meet the fans and media Saturday morning at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium.

Here's our report from Friday's practice.

Position Breakdown

QB It appears the same order..LeFors, Rascati and Bush....Bush appears to be closing the gap on Rascati after two days...LeFors threw the ball well today and hit most receivers in stride....Michael Bush threw the ball much better on Friday and showed nice touch on his deep fade routes....Rascati struggled somewhat during skeleton drills.

WR Joshua Tinch has had a great first two days of practice...if the ball is catchable, Tinch hauls it in...He's also made several spectacular catches because of his athleticism...Broderick Clark looks like he's ready to have a breakout season...He's catching the ball consistently and has the ability to score anytime...JR Russell has been relatively quite but seemed to turn it up a notch toward the end of Friday's practice...Russell made a nice diving catch while falling out of bounds.

TE Richard Owens caught the ball and turned upfield well during drills.

DL Bobby Leffew played well and swatted a couple of passes down at the line of scrimmage during skeleton drills...Jeremy Seguin could see playing time this fall at tackle...he has good quickness and appears to possess the ability to penetrate into the opponent's backfield.

LB The second team consists of James Greene, John Cardoza and John Jackerson....Robert McCune made an interception off a deflection during skeleton drills.

DB The secondary batted down three passes during skeleton drills...CB Dominique Dunbar picked off a pass through the hands of Robert Haskins.

K/P Wade Tydlacka appears the favorite at punter. He's been consistent with his punts and has put good hang time and distance on his boots. There appears to be a good battle brewing between Todd Flanery and Rob Zarrilli for kickoff duties.
