Sebastian Telfair handed out eleven assists in a 126-96 East win Wednesday night in the McDonald's All-America game.

University of Louisville signee Sebastian Telfair wasn't spectacular in Wednesday nights McDonald's All-America game but played unselfishly in helping lead the East squad to a 126-96 victory over the West.

Telfair scored just 2 points but dished for a game-high 11 assists. The Coney Island, New York native also committed four turnovers on the night but was still listed as "probable" on ESPN's telecast to jump directly from the prom to the pros.

“The pressure for me wasn’t coming out and scoring 30 points,” Telfair told the Oklahoman. “I was just trying to get the ball to my two big men.”

Telfair, who teamed with 6-foot-11 Dwight Howard, 6-foot-9 Josh Smith, and 6-foot-11 Randolph Morris, likely didn't hurt his NBA draft stock with his unselfish, team first performance.

"I think it's a lock that he's going to the NBA," ESPN commentator and former McDonald's All-American Tim McCormick said. "NBA scouts like him but they would love him if he played one or two seasons for Rick Pitino at Louisville."

Telfair, who recently finished his high school career with a state championship game loss to Mount Vernon (NY) in which he committed 10 turnovers, still has some questions to answer about his game.

"Some question whether he can run a team and shoot the ball," ESPN's Doug Gottlieb said.

One person who didn't seem to question Telfair's ability was former Duke star and Chicago Bull, Jay Williams.

"I like leaders," Williams explained. "And I think he's that type of fit."

All 29 NBA franchises were represented in Oklahoma City for Wednesday's game.

Telfair nows moves on to San Antonio, Texas where he'll participate in the Nike Hoop Summit this weekend.
