Due in part to losses by Iowa and Michigan the college football landscape adjusted over the weekend. The idle Cardinals benefited from the upsets and continued their climb into the two major polls.
Louisville, which continues to be the only BIG EAST Conference program ranked in either poll, rose to No.11 in this week's AP and No.10 in the new USA Today/Coaches polls.
Louisville's next opponent Oregon State (2-0) received votes in both polls.
