Bobby Buchanan, along with Richard Raglin and Terrence Butler, recorded his first career start
Senior DE Elvis Dumervil recorded his eighth forced fumble of the season, which ties an NCAA record for forced fumbles in a season. He tied Dwight Freeney of Syracuse and Quintin Mickell of Boise State. It was the sixth game this season that Dumervil recorded a sack. With two and half on Saturday, Dumervil also broke the Big East and U of L records for sacks in a season with 19.
Sophomore quarterback Brian Brohm completed 21 of 26 pass attempts for 303 yards, the forth 300-yard performance of his career, which ties him with his brother and current QB coach Jeff Brohm for fifth-place in school history for career 300-yard games. His .808 completion percentage is tied for fifth best single-game effort ever at U of L.
Junior RB Michael Bush added three more touchdowns, the seventh straight game he has tallied two or more rushing touchdowns in a game. His 18 rushing scores are now third in school history. He has 31 career rushing touchdowns, good for second all-time in school history.
Bush rushed for 127 yards on 17 carries, the fourth time he rushed for 100 yards or more in a game this season and the seventh time in his career.
Freshman RB George Stripling produced the first 100-yard rushing effort of his career, gaining 117 yards on 15 carries.
Senior WR Joshua Tinch extended his streak for consecutive games with a reception to 23, the 23rd longest in the country.
Junior free safety Brandon Sharp's second quarter interception was his first of the season and second of his career.
Louisville has scored at least 17 points in first half in six of the seven games this season.
Senior WR Montrell Jones and sophomore tight end Gary Barnidge established new career-high for receptions.
Richard Raglin, Bobby Buchanan and Terrence Butler made their first collegiate starts. Raglin appeared in his first career game.
