"I have two official visits set right now," said the Scout.com 3-star prospect. "I'm going to Illinois (12/2) and Toledo (12/9) so far. The other schools that I'm thinking about taking my other visits with are Michigan State, Indiana, Louisville, Kentucky and probably one other one."
Cole, who totaled over 80 tackles, including seven sacks as a senior, currently holds a number of impressive scholarship offers.
"Illinois, Toledo, Kansas State, New Mexico State and just about everyone else in the MAC," said Cole, who made an unofficial visit with Kentucky a few weeks ago. "I might find out if Louisville is going to offer me this weekend. The head coach said that he wanted to see me in person."
The 6-foot-2, 265-pound Cole, who saw limited time at defensive end this year as well, said that a number of factors play a role in his interest in Bobby Petrino's Cardinal program.
"I like the way they play," he explained. "They know how to win and it's close to home. Their defensive end that leads the nation in sacks - I want to see him."
Cole will join an strong list of visitors for the Cardinal's game against Syracuse on Saturday afternoon. Among the other unofficial visitors expected to attend are local products Corey Peters and Aundre Henderson.
