Bush went into surgery at 7:30 a.m. Monday morning and had a rod inserted into his leg. Dr. Art Malkani performed the hour-long procedure.
The senior from Louisville, Kentucky suffered the injury on the second play of the third quarter and was immediately taken to Jewish Hospital. He carried 17 times for 128 yards and three scores before leaving the game.
Bush is expected to be sidelined for the next 6-8 months.
