  • The Cardinal defense limited Miami to 147 yards in the second half (195 in the first half). Miami converted on 3-of-12 third down conversions for the game.

He completed 10-of-14 passes for 181 yards and a touchdown, moving him up to 10th in career passing yardage with 4,138 career yards.

  • The Miami team collectively stomped on the Cardinal Bird logo in Papa John's Cardinal Stadium near the end of pregame warmups. With today's 31-7 victory over Miami, that's a collective score of 256-37.

  • RB's Kolby Smith (48 yards) and George Stripling (39) combined to rush for 87 yards. Smith rushed for two touchdowns, his fourth game with multiple touchdowns.
