Louisville leading for 3-star Florida corner?

Antwon Murray

Antwon Murray, a three-star corner from Lakeland, Florida, was scheduled to visit Louisville this weekend. However, Murray didn't make it to Louisville, but did watch the Cardinals take down Miami on television. Murray told InsideTheVille that four programs lead for his services. Where does Louisville stand?

Antwon Murray, a three-star corner from Lakeland, Florida was scheduled to make an unofficial visit to Louisville this weekend to watch the Cardinals play Miami. But the speedy 5'10 170 pound Murray didn't make it to town to see Louisville's convincing 31-7 win over the Hurricanes.

"I had to reschedule the visit for a later date," Murray said. "Things just sort of fell through getting up there this weekend. I don't know when I'll reschedule the visit for."

Even though Murray didn't make it to Louisville this weekend, he did watch the Louisville-Miami game on television and came away impressed with what he saw from the Cardinals.

"I watched Louisville beat up on Miami," Murray said. "They really dominated Miami. It was an impressive game."

Murray said Wake Forest, Minnesota, Louisville and Indiana comprise his Top 4. Every school on that list has offered except Louisville. Murray said that if the Cardinals extend an offer his way, it would be very tempting to accept it.

"If Louisville offered they'd probably be my leader and move to the top of my list," Murray said. "They have a great program and it would be a nice place to play. I really like their style of play and they've really built their program up. Plus, I know Gavin Smart and Mozell Axon from Lakeland who are both up there."

Murray has made four interceptions this season through his team's first two games.
