In January at the U.S. Army junior combine in San Antonio, Texas, Gray's Creek (NC) standout defensive lineman Chris Enos named Louisville as the early favorite in his recruitment. Last Saturday, the 6-foot-4, 240-pound Enos attended the Cardinals Junior Day and came away even more impressed.

Enos attended Louisville's two-hour scrimmage Saturday afternoon, then met with the Cardinals coaching staff before heading back home.

"It went really good," said Enos, who also stopped in to talk with Tennessee on the his way home last weekend. "The weather was bad while we were there, but I had a lot of fun. I got to talk with the coaches – Mark Nelson and Reggie Johnson. They talked about my grades and how my training has been coming along. Coach Johnson asked me about playing middle linebacker. So I'm not sure if they're recruiting me as a defensive end or a linebacker. But it was a great trip."

Most schools are looking at Enos, who runs a 4.9 forty, as a defensive end. Last weekend's visit to Louisville was Enos' second trip to U of L in the past few months. He also made an unofficial visit for Louisville's game against UConn last December.

"I've got a whole lot of interest in Louisville," Enos said. "I like the coaches and the players. I don't have a Top 5 or anything like that, but Louisville is one of my favorites."

Enos is still waiting on his first offer. That could change in the near future when Enos attends several college camps, providing him an opportunity to showcase his talent in front of college coaches.

"I'm going to try to go to a lot of one day camps this summer," Enos said. "I know I'm going to Louisville, NC State, UNC, Virginia, Tennessee, and I'll go to ECU for the team camp."

Enos will also participate in the adidas Elite 11 camp at NC State next month.
