Dublin (Ohio) Coffman offensive tackle Mike Adams claims the top spot in the first edition of the Scout.com Midwest 100 rankings. The 6-foot-8, 285-pound Ohio State pledge is a prototype left tackle.
"Watching Adams move is what impresses you most. He is as nimble as most guys who are half his size," Scout.com's Midwest Recruiting Analyst Bob Lichtenfels said. "He is the best pass blocker I have seen in the past few classes."
The Bluegrass State is well represented in the year's initial rankings. Headlined by top 25 selections Brandon Newman of Pleasure Ridge Park and Male's Dexter Heyman, the state of Kentucky places eight rising juniors on the list.
