Ben Cotton, a four-star tight end prospect from Ames, Iowa, participated in Louisville's quarterback/wide receiver camp Sunday at the U of L football complex.

The 6-foot-6, 220-pound Cotton holds a scholarship offer from Steve Kragthorpe's Cardinals and lists Louisville, along with Iowa and Wisconsin, atop his list of favorites.

Cotton spent Sunday morning working out with Louisville tight end coach Greg Nord. He showed advanced ball skills, good footwork and soft hands during drill work and moved well for a big man while running pass routes during passing drills.

Cotton, the son of former Iowa State offensive coordinator Barney Cotton, also holds offers from Iowa State and Kansas. While serving under Dan McCarney at Iowa State, Cotton's father coached with current Louisville assistant Tony Alford.
