The team had a light workout this afternoon. Coach Dan McDonnell worked fundamentals with the guys during the early stages of practice, with the team playing an intra-squad scrimmage the rest of the way.
The guys appeared to be relaxed and their bats were still hot. Dan McDonnell was a popular target with the media, doing a few interviews in the visitors dugout during the scrimmage.
The team leaves for Omaha early Wednesday evening. Their upcoming schedule follows. (note: all times are central)
