Report: Ryan Barnes commits to Louisville

According to the Indianapolis Star, Ryan Barnes, a 6-foot-7, 295-pound offensive lineman from Carmel (IN) High, has given Louisville a verbal commitment. Barnes joins four-star Iowa tight end Ben Cotton in committing to the Cardinals in the past two days.

According to the Indianapolis Star, Ryan Barnes, a 6-foot-7, 295-pound offensive lineman from Carmel (IN) High, has given Louisville a verbal commitment.

Barnes attended Louisville's linemen camp June 10, and received a scholarship offer from the Cardinals shortly after the camp.

Barnes, who led Carmel to the Indiana Class 5A state finals last season, is the fifth player to verbally commit to the Cardinals. Louisville also received a verbal commitment from four-star Iowa tight end Ben Cotton Wednesday.
