With the upcoming football season approaching rapidly, Rashard Hall, a hard-hitting 6-foot-2, 180-pound safety from Florida, is busy squeezing in a couple of last minute unofficial visits to Big East and ACC schools.

Last week, Hall, who made 62 tackles and seven interceptions as a junior at St. Augustine, visited Georgia Tech. "It was a good visit," Hall said. "I liked it." Hall said the Yellowjackets haven't offered at this point.

Hall visited South Florida last weekend. And while the Bulls haven't offered yet, either, it's conceivable they may in the near future. "That's why I'm going down there – to meet the coach and talk about an (offer)," Hall said.

Last month, Hall said Louisville's offer "might be the best one I've got right now." The standout safety still keeps in frequent contact with the Cardinals.

"I talk to Coach (Mark) Nelson about once a week, and I've talked to Coach K two or three times," Hall said. "I was supposed to call (Coach Nelson) yesterday, but I couldn't. I'll probably give him a call him this evening."

Louisville, along with a host of Big East and ACC programs, make up Hall list of favorites.

"I wouldn't declare a leader, but the teams at the top of my list are West Virginia, Louisville, Mississippi State, Georgia Tech, South Florida and Maryland," Hall said. Hall claims offers from West Virginia, Louisville, Mississippi State and Maryland.

Hall said his visit to South Florida will likely be his last for awhile, especially with the high school season just around the corner.

"We start two-a-days August 6 and I'm really looking forward to focusing on the season," he said.
