Hall, who recorded seven interceptions as a junior, is also in the process of setting up a few other official visits.
"There are a couple of other visits I'm trying to set up but I don't have anything scheduled like I do with Louisville yet," said Hall, who mentioned West Virginia and Maryland as likely official visit destinations. "But I plan to visit a couple more places."
Those four programs – Louisville, Miss. State, West Virginia and Maryland – currently sit atop Hall's list of favorites. "From the offers that I have now those are my top four," Hall said.
Which schools on his list are recruiting the 6-foot-2, 185-pound safety the hardest?
"Louisville and Mississippi State," Hall said.
What stands out about Louisville?
"Definitely Coach Nelson and the coaching staff, Coach K," said Hall. "They've let me know that they want me a lot and I've heard good things about their football team, their facilities and their business program. The way they've beaten teams in the past and they just beat Murray State 73-10, so I like them a lot.
"I'm familiar with Louisville as far as what I've been told and looked up for myself. But the main reason I'm visiting them first is that I definitely want to see if all the stuff I've been hearing and seeing about them is true because that's a school that I've been looking at."
What interests Hall about Mississippi State?
"The coaching staff, definitely," Hall said. "Coach Turner talks to me about how they are trying to get the program back on track and that sounds pretty good."
Hall's official visits will play an important part in his decision-making process.
"A major factor will be just seeing the (schools) for myself," Hall said. "I want to see if I like the coaching staff personally – one on one. When I go up to these schools I want to see how good their business programs are and check that out personally a little bit. That's a big factor for me cause I want to major in business."
