"Louisville is waiting for my game film before they offer," Bohannon told InsideTheVille.com late last week. "We just finished our season last Friday and I'm going to start sending it (film) out soon."
What the film will show is an athletic rush end who has the ability to pressure the quarterback. That's exactly what Louisville needs, especially after learning last week that sophomore defensive end Peanut Whitehead's playing career is over because of injury.
"I heard from Louisville the week before last," Bohannon said. "Their coach was talking about their team and getting my film up there. And he asked when I planned on making my visit."
Bohannon says that Kentucky, Alabama, Louisville and Florida sit atop his list of favorites. Bohannon has currently holds offers from the Wildcats and Crimson Tide. Still, Bohannon is playing his cards close to the vest. "Everybody is equal," Bohannon said. "I really don't know where I want to go."
While he doesn't know yet who he will sign with in February, Bohannon said he'll likely make his first official visit in the Bluegrass State.
"I just signed up for the Clearinghouse last week," Bohannon said. "I plan on visiting Kentucky first. Most likely Kentucky is going to be my first visit."
Though he's still waiting for an offer from Louisville, Bohannon said he maintains frequent contact with the U of L coaching staff.
"I talk to a lot of schools and out of all those schools that haven't offered me I talk to Louisville the most," Bohannon explained. "When I send them my game film they say that an offer will be coming right away because that's all they are waiting for."
