Bass enjoys visit; Still no decision
Tyler Bass, a three-star quarterback from Stockbridge, Ga., enjoyed his official visit to Louisville this weekend but didn't make a decision while on campus. "It went real well," Bass said. "My host was Cory Thompson, a receiver from Georgia. I had a real great time here. The recruits that were here like Darius Ashley – he's a real nice guy. And Jon Dempsey. I talked to those two guys a lot. I roomed with a guy named Shelton from Dallas. Coach Kragthorpe and Coach Alford are very nice. It just went well." Though he enjoyed his visit thoroughly, Bass didn't make a decision on the visit. Bass says that Kragthorpe will soon be making an in-home visit and that if he passes the ‘mama' test, he might be headed to play for the Cardinals. "I didn't make a decision on my visit. It will probably be determined when Coach (Steve) Kragthorpe comes to my house sometime the week of (January) the 20th. He's going to be able to talk to my mom and depending on after he talks to my mom then we'll see how everything is shaking and stuff. "I've always been high on Louisville. Now they've got to pass the mama test. That's a big thing. My mom didn't come with me, I just came by myself. So that's the main reason why I didn't commit. They have to pass the mama test because mama knows best. So we'll see where it is from there." Bass is scheduled to visit Maryland next week and will probably make a decision shortly after that visit.
