"It went well. I had a great time," Watson told InsideTheVille.com. "Friday after we arrived I got to talk to the coaches for a minute and then I went out with my host. Saturday, we ate breakfast and met with the academic advisors, then ate lunch and went bowling. They also gave us a tour downtown and around campus and then went out against with our hosts. Sunday, we mainly talked with the coaches."

Did Louisville make up ground on his two front-runners – Purdue and Mississippi State?

"Yes they did," Watson said.

How much ground did Louisville make up on Purdue and Mississippi State?

"A pretty good bit," Watson said. "I'm really considering Louisville."

Watson said he doesn't have a leader with just one visit – to Marshall next weekend – left to make.

"I'll probably make a decision pretty soon, but I can't say exactly when," he said.

What stood out about Louisville?

"It was just the surroundings at Louisville," Watson said. "I fell in love with the surroundings and the atmosphere. I feel like I fit in with the players. It was just the whole package."

Watson roomed with three-star defensive line recruit T.J. Barnes on his visit. "He enjoyed the trip, too," Watson said. On Sunday, before heading back to his home, Watson had a chance to speak with new Louisville defensive coordinator Ron English and head coach Steve Kragthorpe.

"I talked with the new coach, coach (Ron) English, Coach Kragthorpe and coach Steve Adams, the cornerbacks coach," Watson said. "We talked about the stuff that they would be running this year and if I came there what they would be teaching me. We had a pretty good general conversation."
