Reid and his teammates at Lafayette (FL) High School have begun preparing for the season and he says that he is really popular these days with college recruiters.
"The summer went well. I got some new offers and have been contacted by some new schools. And practice is just getting underway here and I am just trying to work as hard as I can every practice," said Reid.
Reid has recently received offers from Oregon, Miami, and Troy. While Louisville, Michigan State, Ole Miss, South Florida, and UCF have been mainstays on his list. And while it has been reported that the big three teams in Florida have gotten more heavily involved, Reid maintains that he is not leaning towards any school currently.
To this point in his recruitment, Louisville remains in good position. In total, Reid has 15 scholarship offers and is taking his time to evaluate each of the schools currently recruiting him.
"I have started to take a closer look at the schools that I want to visit this season, but right now I am still evaluating them and getting my plans together. Everybody is still pretty even to this point," said Reid.
Reid wants to take a few visits during the season, and then he will take his remaining official visits after the season.
"This summer I only went to one camp at Georgia. It was a really great camp and I enjoyed myself there. Other than that I have just been working and getting stronger for the season," said Reid. "I really tried to work on my leadership. I wanted to work on being more vocal on and off the field. I also wanted to work on my burst. I really wanted to work on my explosiveness off the ball."
